Additionally, Medicaid has been a literal live saver for millions of low-income children, seniors with long-term care and those with disabilities who have nowhere else to turn. Now is not the time to privatize or gut benefits; rather we must continue to protect and preserve these crucial programs, ensuring that everyone is entitled to a healthy future. We must strengthen Medicare and Medicaid so generations to come have the same advantages as seniors do today.
