But those Iraq War votes are out of touch with their constituents. Rep. Jon Porter, who represents Las Vegas, Nevada, recently said we should �listen to the generals and to the troops, not to the politicians.� Rep. Michele Bachmann from Minnesota returned from Iraq in July �firm as ever in her conviction that the war in Iraq is justified.� The three Senators we�re targeting have all heard from Americans United for Change before. Recently, these Senators have started to change their tune by telling their constituents they are concerned about Bush�s failure in Iraq. But back in Washington, their votes have supported Bush every time. This report is being written by the same White House which hyped intelligence about Iraq to get us into the war in the first place, and which declared �Mission Accomplished� four years ago. The September report is a total farce. It�s just another in a long line of White House propaganda that doesn't reflect the realities on the ground or the stakes for our fighting men and women.
