Thank you.  You have just guaranteed my vote for Heather Wilson, I don’t care which DUMOCRAT runs against her.  You are playing games with our service personnel in the middle.  If you had a brain, you would realize the consequences of pulling out of Iran and leading the terrorists back to our homeland.

You're a bunch of Idiots | Tuesday, April 17 at 07:19 PM

Your very lame attack ad against Heather Wilson only goes to show how far some people will take things in a vain attempt to further their anti-Bush crusade.  Bush is the President.  He won the election twice.  Deal with it.

As for the “Heather Wilson voted against bringing the troops home” all I have to say is ROFL!  Good job twisting those words around.  You have only guaranteed that I will continue to vote for Heather in the next election.  If this is what the opposition is stooping to then I’ll feel very secure in the knowledge I am helping keep the more morally correct person in office.

Wow, I thought stupid people didn't understand pol in New Mexico | Tuesday, April 17 at 07:28 PM

Has Mary always been attracted to losers. Her relationship with Bush isw frightening. You can get the troops out of Irac and fund the troops at the same time.take better care of our troops who have been maimed and their families

We cam get out of the civil war and not be dis loyal to out troops

I’m glad y’all are doing this.  If only we could get donors engaged this far in advance all over the place so that presure would never let up.

Your attacks on Wilson are falling on deaf ears, we in New Mexico support our troops and Heather Wilson. The bill that Heather voted against was far from what you spin it to be,you are making America seem weak to our alleys and enemies, so stop wasting your money on these terrible and inacurate adds.

It is so PAINFULLY obvious that this web site is run, founded and promoted by (as sad as it is) people in this country that have 100% forgotten September 11, 2001.  You go Heather..You have my vote and always will.  These people (web site) need to grab Michael Moore and get on a one way boat to somewhere else.  Pathetic creatures.

Roger Hastings in Albuquerque, N.M. | Friday, April 20 at 08:22 AM

Yeah, here’s why “everyone’s talking” about your Heather Wilson ad—what about your own liberal Democrat friends?  They control the Congress...why didn’t THEY vote to end the war?  You’re taking Heather Wilson to task for not taking a stance that even your “friends” won’t take.  And why didn’t they vote to end the war?  Because they know that would be insanity.  If you want to ask hard questions, ask yourselves why your own team won’t vote the way you want.

Thanks for the ads. It is clear that most Americans want this war to end. Bush’s stay-the-course policy is only getting more of our family members killed in Iraq’s civil war. It’s time to end it.

A veteran in Ypsilanti, Michigan | Tuesday, April 24 at 12:38 PM

Well it seems that my fellow conservatards have already browbeaten you regarding your advertisement.
I on the on the other hand feel that you didn’t didn’t go far enough. Instead of just pointing out that the conservatards in congress that are trying to prolong this perpetual war, why not start pointing out that these same individuals have actively hindered any oversight of the Iraq war up until 2007? Why not point that it is the President that keeps “forgetting” to put his war funding into the regular budget? Why not point out that is is this administration that is not supporting our troops by denying wounded solders proper medial benefits?
Lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of the people who illegally got us into this illegal war, the Republicans!

Mr. Conservatard in Dallas, Tx | Tuesday, April 24 at 01:04 PM

Why do you fools think that people in Nevada care what you think in Washington? The attack on Dean Heller makes him stronger and the news people are only making you look like idiots. The Democrats are losers and so are you. It is also nice that you hide behind your website and ads with no real owner. Please keep wasting your money.

Get over September 11th! Yes, it was a sad time for everyone and even me who was in one of the towers - BUT, fighting a meaningless war in Iraq is doing nothing to get “revenge”. Osama who? Haven’t heard about him lately. What has Bush accomplished with this stupid war - You think you are safer now? You must be a real idiot living in a real bubble. With this war we have only made MORE enemies in the world with an incompetent, unintelligent agenda representing our country in the international arena. What about healthcare or our economy? This war has brought America down and demolished a country that was once a bit more solid and diplomatic. I can’t wait for 2008 and when that person is out of office and a new one (whoever) takes his place. GOP, “Grand Ole’ Party” my ass - more Like GOI “Grand Ole Idiots”. Nothing grand about it...... Wake up America! Is there something in the water in New Mexico?? We are no safer now with the war - you should instead be feeling fear because the world hates us.

Why not Victory over the Islamic fundamentalist who want all of us dead?  Their only criteria for who lives or dies is how good a muslim you are.

The average intelligence exhibited by folks expressing discontent with UfC’s advertisements, judging by their poor use of grammar and outright abysmal diction, is startlingly low. The UfC ads simply express the fact, perhaps obliquely, that Republicans were voted out of office in the midterm elections of 11/06 for a single reason: the utter, dismal, abject failure in Iraq. Weak minds will usually attempt to defray the debate with ad hominem attack and distraction. A good example is the claim that policy critics are “unpatriotic” or “don’t support the troops.” Lame attempts to avoid the truth—and the truth is this: you were lied into the war by criminal elements who managed a bloodless coup d’etat in 2000. I know how strong your denial is. You don’t believe this could happen in your beloved America. Wake up. America is gone. You have watched the ultra-wealthy steal it out from under you.

And your progeny will pay.

anyone who supports the administrations policies are bigger jerk-offs than all the lying scumbags in office, and truly pathetic losers…

Congratulations into destabilizing the entire planet. I realize you don’t have to care because you’re americans.
We all make excuses for you.  It’s like having a mentally handicapped sibling.
“We’re sorry for their behavior, but they’re too stupid to know any better.”

Have fun imploding.
The rest of us won’t miss you when you’re gone.

War Mongering assholes can have your war in safe from you assholes | Friday, April 27 at 10:44 AM

Can you even give us one idea or plan for the future? The only thing I ever hear is Bush bad, Bush lied, Bush is Hitler, republicans lie. Do you really think people buy that every single conservative is bad, because that is the message you are banking on. You truly expect us to believe that everyone that opposes your lame brained ideas are guilty of a crime because that also is what you propose. The problem is you offer nothing in the way of an idea for the countries future other than run the sky is falling. I know I know, war never solved anything, except for, gaining independence, slavery, fascism and communism.

Great ad, and clearly it pisses off the right people as far as I’m concerned.  You can tell that by the 101st keyboard brigade’s initial attack at you.  ANYTHING that pisses off the rightwing trolls is alright by me.

Kudos!

You just dont get it. If we withdraw/surrender, They will come here. Is everyone ready to fight these sick S.O.B’s right here? I dont think so.Personnally, I think we should fire (VOTE OUT) everyone in the house and senate and vote in some fresh thinking,Congress is not in touch with the American people at all, maybe 8 year term limits could be the answer. Then we might see some work get done in D.C. This option for term limits will never be proposed in Congress,It should be on next years ballot to be voted on BY THE PEOPLE!!!!8 year Term Limits...YAY OR NAY? It’s the only way to get rid of the deadbeats who have made a career of living off our tax dollars and now call D.C. home. And the next time I hear harry reid speak for the “ American People”, I might run up to D.C. myself and put a boot in his ass! Why you ask? Because he’s not speaking for ME!!!! Semper Fi,
Jim

Great ads. Keep it up. We need to keep the conversation going until folks start hearing that many of us are not against fighting a war/the war on terror, we just don’t agree with where the battles are being fought, and how the offensive is being conducted.

If we think that the war can be won militarily, then why don’t we institute a draft and send every able bodied man and woman to fight this war? Call for ALL Americans to join in the effort in any way that they can? How can we support a war effort that we are only being asked to fund, but not participate in? I simply don’t understand the current strategy, and I feel we have been patient long enough.

However, I do not personally feel that the war on terror will be won with military might, or economic pressure alone, we must begin to work much harder on diplomacy and intelligence. We must have a superior strategy than that of our enemies. We must know them and what motivates their hate for us in order to understand how to more effectively respond to them.

Carol in Austin, TX | Friday, April 27 at 01:28 PM

The “fight them there so they won’t come here” theory is so stupid.  Why can’t the terrorist come here and terrorise there too?  Are they following some rule?  Some terrorist code that we don’t know about?  Maybe this “puppy dog” theory works for some, but not for me.  Like a puppy dog, the terrorists won’t to our home because their following our troops in Iraq?  Did they agree to that?  Are the flights too expensive?

Thinking that there will be no terrorists in the US because of the war is just plain stupid.

Steve-O in Milford, CT | Friday, April 27 at 01:52 PM

Heather ran a despicable campaign, and won by 900 votes.  Carl, her handler, spent millions!!  Loyalty won over truth in New Mexico.  She now owes her political career to Carl, and George.

tim wierwille in ruidoso nm | Friday, April 27 at 04:03 PM

I support the President and his efforts to end this war. We don’t need the pull out the Congress and Senate cowards have put forth. President Bush is the commander, and the House and Senate are Traitors to our country if they undermind our troops. The Speaker of the House and Senate need to be impeached. Roger Burnett

Roger Burnett in Chesnee,SC | Monday, April 30 at 01:58 PM

maybe i missed something.? Who are these people that think the “terrorists” dont know their way to the US?  (but only by following us home from iraq) how could you possibly come to the conclusion that staying in the war is preventing, lets see 5,10 or fifteen of them from coming here and blowing something else up?

dflow | Monday, April 30 at 03:55 PM

It is beyond belief that we have stooped so low as to run a video like “Mission Accomplished.” Your tactics go below politics, it is now just pure hate.  It has become an embarrassment to claim association with you. Clean it up - Hate mongering is not the way.  Just tell the truth intellectually.

Karl A. Keiper in Syracuse, In. | Tuesday, May 01 at 06:47 AM

Where is the coherent Iraq policy that espouses cut and run. I believe our country supports the quest for freedom for all people—that has been our nations’ mission since George Washington up to and including FDR and JFK. Why do the Iraqi’s deserve any less, why should the vicious murdering of a few by a fanatic religious organization set policy for the USA. I say pock on you Democrats and United for Change, I support the President and freedom for the Iraqi people
