Americans United, AFSCME Ads Targets GOP Tax Votes

National Journal - August 6, 2012

Last week's symbolic tax votes are this week's attack ads.
The liberal group Americans United for Change and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees union are pumping $280,000 worth of ads onto national cable and local broadcast airwaves today and tomorrow, targeting vulnerable Republicans by focusing on their votes to extend Bush-era tax cuts for everybody, including the richest Americans.
In addition to running on MSNBC and CNN, localized ads will run in Nevada, Ohio, Montana, Iowa and California, targeting Sen. Dean Heller of Nevada and Reps. Jim Renacci of Ohio, Denny Rehberg of Montana, Steve King of Iowa and Dan Lungren of California.
