Petition Congress |
Health insurance companies are playing a game with your life -- it's called Monopoly. And they always win. That’s because health insurers have the ultimate get- out-of-jail-free card – an antitrust exemption that lets them corner markets and crowd out real competition. The result: Patients get railroaded. CEOS get rich. You get screwed. Sign Our Letter To Congress: It's outrageous that insurance companies don't have to play by the same rules as other industries in the United States – rules designed to ensure healthy competition among businesses. The anti-trust exemption allows health insurance companies to jack up prices and deny care and there is nothing patients can do about it because they have no other choices. It's time for Congress to end the anti-trust exemption for the health insurance industry as part of health insurance reform and create competition by giving consumers a public health insurance option. |
