Americans United for Change Launches TV Ads in 15 Congressional Districts Praising Members for Supporting the Obama Clean Energy Jobs Bill
Washington D.C. - On the heels of passage in the U.S. House of the American Clean Energy and Security Act, Americans United for Change unveiled a new series of television ads praising Members of Congress in 15 districts for meeting President Obama's challenge to pave the way for establishing America as a world leader in clean energy while creating millions of jobs in the process. See sample script and links below for the spot titled "Uniquely American" which will air in the following media markets July 7-10 (Note: a generic "Call Congress" version will also air on nationally on MSNBC and CNN). In addition to the $150k advertising effort, Americans United announced that it will begin conducting robo calls with a similar message in 74 congressional districts.
